The Mississippi Outdoor Club welcomes you to join us on future paddling, hiking, backpacking, climbing, cycling and snow skiing / boarding trips.

 

Members and non-members of the MS Outdoor Club are welcome to participate in club trips and events. Non-members regardless of age must pay $5.00 per day to participate on club trips.

  • Locust Fork whitewater canoe and kayak trip

    Whitewater paddling trip to northcentral AL.  Located about 50 miles north of Birmingham.  Difficulty:Class II and III.  Freeflowing stream, rainfall translates to river level.  Paddlers must have previous whitewater experience and cold weather paddling clothes.  Rafts and duckies available for rent, if you don't have a boat.  We can stay at LFE cabin and eat out.  Contact Jim Trunzler @ 601 259-1246 or trunzlerj@bellsouth.net.
